The FF effects in F1 2001 are awesome.  I think it's even
better than GPL or N4.  Driving F1 2001 is on par with GPL
in about every way.  I never got nearly the same feel with
GP3, or any previous F1 2001 versions.

Where do you go to race online?

Very much agree, after finding out that my MSFF needed a negative
value for strength. It got a few issues though, and I hope the right
people are reading this:

- My MSFF oscillates heavily when I let go of the wheel when driving
in a straight line. What parameter do i tweak to sort this ?
- If I turn the wheel when standstill, it slowly centers itself. This
is certainly not happening on my road car, is this normal on F1 cars
  ?

The patch does still not fix the "nothing happens the first 50 % of
pedal travel in split axis" problem.

Apart from this minor issues: Great work ISI!

Raise the FFB damper settings in the .plr file.  You'll probably
have to resort to manual editing of the file to fine-tune the
feel to your liking.  I leave the damper off to get more subtle
effects, just don't let go of the wheel.

Sounds like you have the centering spring option turned on
in your FF wheel control panel.

Yep.  You have to use DXTweak.  Reset the center of calibration
near the maximum, and you can use the whole range of pedal
motion!  Makes a big difference.
