First Time At Spa

by johnjnelso » Fri, 26 May 2000 04:00:00

I remember my first time ever racing online. It was on TEN with Nascar 2. A
pickup Talladega race. My palms were sweaty, my heart pumping. I was so nervous
about accidentally taking someone else out and getting banned. Like I said, a
Dega pickup race. Little did I know....

Nothing however, compares to the racing that I've had with GPL. The
concentration required is just incredible and exhilarating. Recently in a league
race three of us were running 1st thru 3rd at Mosport with less than 3 seconds
separating us for 8 laps. When the engine on the Ferrari directly in front of me
blew, I actually ducked to avoid the flying pieces that went by! There's no
turning back for you now, you poor sap...
