Are any sim racers interested in doing a group tour to the British Grand Prix?

Hello Fellow Sim Racers,

The British Grand Prix is coming up on April 21,22 and 23, 2000. I have been
thinking about organizing a group tour to attend the Easter weekend event.
Right up front, I'll tell you that this is probably not going to be
inexpensive, but as a group tour it should be less expensive per person than
doing it on your own. It also should be quite a lot of fun. As an added
bonus you might get to meet the person that clipped you during that online
race you participated in :-). I am currently researching the costs and
availability, but don't have any conclusive information as of yet.

The itinerary of what I'm thinking of would probably be along the following
lines...

A.) Departure from a New York city area airport (i.e. Newark, JFK, etc.) on
April 20th to arrive either late on the 20th or early on the 21st in the
U.K.

B.) Bus (Coach) transport from airport to accommodations near Silverstone.

C.) Three to four nights of accommodations. Least expensive accommodation
costs are typically based on two people per room. (So get a friend to come
along)

D.) Daily bus (coach) transport to and from Silverstone at beginning and end
of the day's events.

E.) General admission to the 3 days of events. If reserved enclosed
grandstand seating, open grandstand seating, and paddock passes are still
available I would look into those options as well. Let me know your seating
preferences and I'll see what I can come up with.

F.) Possibility of prearranged Breakfasts prior to the daily events and
Dinners afterwards. Hospitality at the event is a possibility (this will add
up the $$$). You could also do meals on your own. Give me some feedback and
let me know what you think.

G.) Transport by bus (coach) back to airport for departure back to New York
area on 24 April, 2000.

The above itinerary is just a rough proposal and is subject to change based
on the feedback that I get, etc. If there is enough interest in this, then
I'll respond to the interested parties with more details. So, If this sounds
like something you would like to participate in, then email me at

Thank you and Wheels Down!
