When I launch the powerslide demo, I get the hourglass, then the mouse
dissapears, but nothing else happens.

If I Ctrl+Alt+Del I can see the task, but nothing else happens.  If I wait,
the machine reboots eventually.

I can successfuly kill the task, but I can't run the demo.

Can I apply the powerslide patches to the demo?

Machine is twin 450 P2, V3000, DX latest, Win98

I've had similar problems with the Driver demo, but none with the PowerSlide
demo.  Don't know about the patches and the demo, but I'd think not.  My
guess is that since one of the full version patches solves a Voodoo 3
problem, there may be problems with your video card.  Sorry I can't offer
more help.  You might check with Don Wilshe who posts here sometimes -- he
runs the Powerslide World Powerslide Association, so he may know of a fix
for your problem.
