Will GPL run on a 16M Voodoo Banshee card? I am relatively new to the game
but its fine on my GeForce 32MX
I am going to install the game on my sons computer (or should I say the ex
wifes?)
Didnt know if GPL worked ok with a 3DFX card.
PIII 550, 96M ram are the other specs....Thanks in advance for any help.

I run it on a PII400 / 320Mb RAM / Banshee 16M / Windows 98SE / USB
Guillemot FFB wheel - I usually get a contant 36fps except at the start
where it drops to about 29fps with full detail. I run 8 sounds (I've got a
really crappy 1868 ESS audio card) and 19 opponents.
Couple of hints - some of the hi-res 3rd-party patches might have a bit of a
hit on frame rate, and my Windows 98 install is optimised for gameplay only
(i.e. a very clean, minimal install with no extra software running or
installed other than what's required).

I used to run a Banshee card on an AMD 233 with fairly good results. One
thing, make sure you have the most up to date video card drivers and make
sure GPL is patched to 1.2
