make sure you have the updated d3d patch. You can't tell by the file
name, but they did replace the patch several months after the original was
released. Easiest way to tell if you have the updated d3d patch is to check
out the flag colors... If they are the proper shades..i.e. yellow for a
wreck, white, blue etc...then you have the newer patch. If your ontrack
flags are all sorts of odd colors...then go back and redownload it.
A better vid card is essential, but don't ignore the cpu either....GPL
loves a big chip...
