Heyas....

In an effort to help a few of you sleep at night with decisions like
this, let me give you a bit of advice...

Wait until the cards are on the shelves, and a few poor souls have gone
out and paid the ridiculous prices for the next generation of cards.
Once quite a few people have them in their systems alot of the questions
I see banging around will be answered.

As with any "new" hardware, there are gonna be some bugs, and
compatibility issues.  These people with the $$ are going to help solve
these, I think these guys enjoy this part of new toy ownership.

I can understand the rush to buy the latest and greatest, i think its
instinctive of man... lol but I can't understand the rush to pay so much
money.  Hold off buying your new video card for even 3 months (longer
the better) and u'll save a bundle.

I waited to buy my V3, and actually got lucky, I still haven't seen it
advertized locally for what I paid for it 6 months ago.

Just My thoughts people

True and I heard that BitBoys will be releasing a card in a few months that
will run rings around everything on the market.  64bit color, 3 trillions
polys/sec, T&L, onboard celluar communications along with your choice of 10
games or a date with supermodel.

The Bitboys have pushed back the release of their product over and
over...they have said T&L isn't needed, and then delayed the release
of the board so they could add T&L.  They have a real problem with
'Feature Creep'  Every time something new comes out...they add to
their feature list.
At least in some newsgroups the name Bitboys is synonymous with
VaperBoys.
