Ahhhh!!!

NASCAR 1999 is a good sim...but I'm having so many problems in yellow flag
conditions!  Or are there rules that I don't know about in NASCAR?

For example, I was racing at Homestead the other night with the BGN car set.
Trouble in turn one, two cars just got sideways, and pitted.  I decided to pit,
along with about 10 other cars.  Everything was going swell until I met about 4
of those cars leaving the pits.  They were going down the backstreach about
110mph...even though the pace car was in turn 1!  And I couldn't pass
them...spotter kept saying "Stay behind 10 car".  So here I was behind 4 slow
cars.  Spotter said "we're going green".  Still, no speed up, just going along
like a Sunday drive.  And when the green flag dropped, well....

And I had the same experience at other tracks.

And I'm not EVEN going to mention other happenings under yellow and while
trying to pit (maybe later).

I like NASCAR 1999...The AI in NASCAR 99 is more aggressive (which is WAY
cool!!), but under yellow conditions, I have seen the strangest things.  And
it's taking the FUN out of the game with these anoying bugs.

The bottom line is this...will Papyrus come out with a patch soon?  Thank you.

ED !
This problem is common to all Papy sims - sometimes at short
oval you can go lap down because of this bug !!

I was witness that one car lapped entire field because other cars (and mine
too) couldn't find proper order !

I hope Papy will release (or it will correct it in N3) patch which will
modify also another bug - restarting - you can lap 3/4 of the field
because AI cars are slowing going turn 1.

That happens to me A LOT at Texas.  I tried to export some tracks to NASCAR2,
but I have yet to see if this makes anything better.  Oh well...
