Bug In GPL Scoring

Bug In GPL Scoring

Tonight, IGPS ran it's 2nd race of the season, and I think I found a bug
in scoring.

If a person disconnects for ANY reason (manually or because connection
went bad), they will be shown as finishing in a lower psotion that
someone that retires from the race during the same lap, but does not
manually disconnect.

For instance, I blew the damn motor early on lap 1 and retired, and two
other drivers wrecked out well beyond the point at which I retired (but
still on the same lap) and manually disconnected right away.  The two
guys that manually disconnected were shown in the final race standings as
finishing lower (8th and 9th)than I did (7th).

It takes your positions when you crossed the start/finish line last, just
like in real racing. It has nothing to do to with where you expired on the
track. You must have been ahead of them at the start, when you crossed the
line the first time.
