First off I want to thank Eldred Pickett for allowing me to run in RASCAR.
Alot of the

people I respect race in that league and I wasnt really sure how I would do
as some

of the very best race in RASCAR. When I got to the server for some reason I
noticed

that my connection and quality were crap.  First time I had ever seen a 89
quality on

my connection as I run from Tampa Bay Road Runner.  So I knew I had to cool
it for

most all of the 76 laps as I didnt want to warp wreck anyone!  So never
really made

an effort until the last 12 laps.  Than it was that pesky Eldred Pickett.
It was a

tight 6 car field until we lost half the field with about 8 or so to go, and
than

there was 3.  I have raced in many leagues and I would have to rate the
driving

and sportsmanship right with the best. I ws really looking forward to racing
John

Simmons as he seemed to be one of the fastest in the field, but 2 screen
freezes

dropped him about 20 laps down.  Of courese*** Tricke seem to lead most of
the

time.  Last but not least let me thank my auto parts performance supply
company

www.martelbros.com with over 3 GB of data and we sell parts of the top 500
street

and drag racing company..  Thanks Don Wilshe I hope you invite the Fing
Rookie

back.. lol

RASCAR: Taladega Victory Speech: Don Wilshe

by spar » Mon, 07 Oct 2002 20:53:55

Congrats on the win, Don. That was a fun race all around. Anytime you are
hoping for a yellow so you don't run out of fuel can't be bad. There was
some sustained 2-wide bunched up racing. I can hardly imagine doing that in
real life. Those guys are crazy!

Also, since my last drive format I lost the Rascar car files (even my car).
I searched racesim central before the race but couldn't locate them. Can
someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Steve
