ICR2: Lapspeed & Laptime Inconsistency

A question about laptimes and lapspeeds:

I tested at Milwaukee today for the first time, and got up to 187.032
mph, which in itself is unrealistically high...  Anyway, the laptime
was reported as 20.08 seconds.  Now in IICC2 with ICR 1.05 I ran a
182.226 mph lap that corresponds to a reported laptime of 19.751
seconds.  Anyone see something wrong here?

Also regarding a couple of very annoying replay bugs:

I ran two consecutive 4 gallon sprints in testing at Portland a couple
of nights ago.  I got a personal best on the first run (59.735 s),
cut that particular lap and saved it.  The next 4 g run got me a
59.703, but when I went to save the replay, the 'Load Replay' menu
popped up...(?!?!?!)...  I exited back to the track menu screen,
and noticed that the replay window was empty...  I 'resumed'
my practice run, exited, and still the replay window was empty.
The only way I got the replays working again was to exit to the
track list screen and choose Portland again...  Annoying thing to
happen if you manage to run that 'once-in-a-lifetime' lap and
can't save a replay of it...

Btw, I use the IICC standard conditions for testing: 75 F, No Wind,
Realistic Damage...

Any news on a patch coming out soon?  The Paintkit needs one, as do
the grip levels on some tracks, the replay bug I mentioned needs to
be fixed, plus the various reported yellow flag bugs, and the way
it calculates lapspeed...etc...etc...  One major gripe that I have
is with the stats...  WHY OH WHY DID YOU ELECT TO DO IT LIKE IN
NASCAR?!?!!?!?  IT SUCKS!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
Even the stats in ICR 1.05 would have been sufficient...why change?

Does anyone feel like ICR2 is just NASCAR with ICR visuals?  Some
bugs are definite carryovers from NASCAR code...such a shame Papyrus
didn't fix those first...  Still, when everything is fixed it should
be great...  Can't help but admire the graphics in SVGA...  I love
that dash! ;)

So, to reiterate, any news on a patch? ;)

The Milwaukee Mile was just repaved in September!  I'm not sure
mid-180's are going to be unrealistic in 1996!  (your point is still
taken though, given that icr2 is supposedly based on the '95 season)
