Is there a way to force D3D installation of MGPRS2?

This game insists on installing Glide version only, but I want to
install  the D3D version to see if it will stop the stutter I noticed
when using high res and/or 4X FSAA in glide mode.

When he ask witch type of install you want, there is 3 dot (...) at the end,
click on it and you'll see the 3d3 options
