Open letter to Ed & Papyrus

Ed & Papyrus employees:

I know that I have been extremely vocal here on r.a.s. about certain
issues regarding your wonderful products.  I just want to make sure that
everyone knows and understands that my "complaints" are not aimed at the
hardworking and excellent employees at Papyrus.

As a programmer myself, I know that your programmers and other staff do
not want to have to release software that has bugs or "uninteneded
enhanced features".  You all have done an excellent job and have
provided us with many hours of enjoyment (and maybe a few hours of
uninteded frustration).  I understand the difficulty in tracking down
and fixing the problems.  Every one of you deserves more recognition than
you receive.  Please keep up the good work and don't let my concerns
over decisions being made by the "decision makers" keep you from
continuing to produce the fine products you do.

I understand that if you had your way, we would never have had to deal
with the bugs and frustrations we have encountered.  These decisions
were made for you by the bottom line, gotta have cash coming in the door
in order to keep your paycheck coming.

My concerns are over some of the decisions made which affect me as a
paying customer.  It may have been my hundreds of dollars that helped
pay for your dinner.  Most companies, even with the best of intentions
do not have a good strong m***conscience.  It is usually clouded by
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ concerns.  As a loyal paying customer, I think I have an
obligation to myself, other paying customers, the employees of Papyrus,
and even the corporate big-wigs to at times be the voice of that clouded
conscience.

I know you are all hard at work to continue producing fine products to
keep us "entertained".  Keep up the good work, because it is GREATLY
appreciated.  Even by the loudest of the "dissenters".

Thank you and I am sorry that any of my comments may have caused you
undue grief.
