Hey All:
I am a fairly new GPL\VROC racer and I just want to say what a pleasure
it is to race with most of the people on VROC.  I just finished a race where
I started 6th, got a good start and was 2nd and was passed by the faster
guys over several laps eventually falling back to 5th.  Every pass was clean
and fun. That is what it's all about!!  Even though I'm not one of the fast
guys (Monza: High 1:29's-1:30's) I can have a lot of fun racing clean.
Getting rear ended in the 1st turn is not quite as fun.

I also had an F2 race a couple of weeks ago where another racer and I
were much faster than the others. He was faster than I but every time he
would pass he would then slow down so we could "Race" again....Great fun,
better than being rear ended in the first turn or avoiding some moron going
the wrong way during a race.  I would just like to emphasize that It is MUCH
more fun to be a little less agressive so that you can have the chance to
race with someone.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

See Y'all on the track. (Not all of us southerners are NASCAR Boys)

    Vaughn

PS, HOW do I get into the 1:28 range!!!???????

In the words of the meastro (J.M. Fangio) : "Less brake, more accellerator."
