A short day for me. Bad Q put me starting next to last but I had worked my way
past a few when the damn plug on my Momo worked it's way loose AGAIN. Great job
by Don, Jerry and Mitch to not run me over. Nothing like going from full
throttle to half throttle in a split second. I need your plug fix Jan. I stayed
out hoping for a yellow but when the leaders got to within 2 seconds I decided
to pull in and retire. No sooner had I hit get out of car a damn yellow flew.
Oh well. Teamspeak is a great thing but it freaked me out for a while. Sorry
for calling you Mitch, Dave and vice versa but those Ca. accents sound alike.
Glad we don't have accents in the south :) Also thanks to John Simmons for
helping me get some of my frame rates back. Hopefully soon I will run another
full race. What little I did race today was good stuff. See ya'll next week.

I think you meant James not Brian, Jan.  James had a pretty bad day and he
admitted so much.  Actually I saw quite a few bad pass attempts entering T1
beyond James moves.  Me and you included Jan (lap 106) :-)

Sorry Jerry, upon further review I punted you.  I was in a bad frame of mind
at that point and was pushing harder than I should re-catching up.  It's
just a really tight track to begin with and their wasnt enough give n take
once we had that first yellow.

North Carolina is next.

No, I did mean I rear-ended Brian... he managed to avoid #04, I didn't
manage to avoid him. A real shame as I think we made the right call on the
preceding yellow. I was going to do whatever the leader didn't, but I
preferred pitting for 4 and *** on it going green to the finish. I'd
made a truce<sp?> with Brian until we got to the front and we were all set
to try for a 1-2 finish. Unfortunately, I missed #04 starting a move on #39
and didn't get slowed in time to avoid Brian checking up. Then there really
wasn't enough green running left to make up for my goof.

I apologise for the swipe after the checkers. I just kept my foot in it to
avoid lifting too soon as I could sense Ginger was really close to beating
me to the line.

You betcha!! <vbg>

Not really a bad day, I was running good, maybe too good, because I did make
some really bonehead moves. The biggest was the pass under caution I made on
the 04 car. I clipped him causing him to hit the wall. I think he did
finish, but not as good as he would have. And then 2 rearends I made on you
and Mark, which also collected Brian. Sorry to all. If you see fit for a
penalty or suspension for the passing under yellow, you will not get a
protest from me.

"bluestringer"
yellow, you will not >get a protest from me.

Considering the seriousness of your offense I would guess a penalty is in
order.

<wags finger>     SHAME !! SHAME ON YOU !!

There. :)

Well, I was running fourth (after a LONG struggle to get there) when the
yellow came out. After being put in the wall, I finished 13th, two laps
down, last car running - well, sort of running - wouldn't hardly pull 4th
gear at the end.  :(

Hey no such thing as a California accent :)  Valley girl talk out since the
80's :)

I had a fun race.  Bluestringer no worries on the tap.  Purely an accordian
deal.
