Which Rally games?

What are the best new Rally games?  Seems a little confusing.
Rally Championship 99, 2000, Mobil 1 Rally Championship...

Thanks,
Brian

Rally Championship 2000 and Mobil 1 British Rally Championship are
actually the same.

And, speaking as someone who has played Rally Championship 2000,
Network Q RAC (the first of the Europress Rally Series which presently
ends with Rally Championship 2000) and, the current challenger, Colin
McRae Rally, I would have to give the nod to, as did Incite games,
both CMR and RC2K.  They're both very good.  Put another way, it's
hard to go too wrong with the current crop.  (Q RAC is a wonderful DOS
sim, still available from Europress, that points to what the genre
will become.)

We'll have to see what Colin McRae Rally 2.0 and Rally Masters (Test
Drive Rally) bring.   Current reports suggest CMR 2.0 will take the
cup for realism and RM (TDR) will have a bit more arcade-flavor.

Technically, Rally Championship 99 doesn't exist - it's either "Rally
Championship" in the UK, "Rally Championship 2000" in Europe or "Mobil 1
Rally Championship" in the USA.

Keep your eyes open for Rally Masters - that's looking as though it's going
to be a scorcher. In the meantime, CMR and RC are head-and-shoulders above
the competition.

And as Rally Masters will be server based multiplayer should be great.
But I also hear unconfirmed rumours that CMR2 will also have a server
based multiplayer system.
