GPL lockups , so here is my message back to them there message to me and
then
my first message to them
Thanks for the information and suggestions on my problem running GPL.
To answer the first part of suggestion here is a copy of my autoexec.bat
file
REM Environment Settings For McAfee VirusScan
SET PATH=%PATH%;C:\PROGRA~1\NETWOR~1\MCAFEE~1
Rem,"Added for Voodoo2"
set SST_GRXCLK=90
set SST_FT_CLK_DEL=0x4
set SST_TF0_CLK_DEL=0x6
set SST_TF1_CLK_DEL=0x6
set SST_VIN_CLKDEL=0x1
set SST_VOUT_CLKDEL=0x0
set SST_TMUMEM_SIZE=2
as you can see I am setting the speed of my Voodoo2 to 90 mhz
to your second suggestion for using the reference drivers from 3dfx
using Glide 2.53 drivers from this is the only way that I can keep GPL
from locking up, if I use the Glide 2.54 drivers GPL will lockup . I
already
have a fan blowing on my Voodoo2 cards and the Pll33 also has a fan, I
really don't think it is a over heating problem, this was the same
suggestion
the company that made Unreal gave for there software problem. Thanks
for your help and I am looking forward to being able to play GPL without
having to coping the Glide 2.53 drivers each time I want to play then if I
want to Play your other game half-life I have too copy the Glide 2.54
drivers
back . People in the news groups will also be glad to know that Sierra is
working on this problem, so I will post this reply to all the 3dfx news
groups.
Yours truly
Ken Brown
