Driver Settings

Hi All,

I'm using the Windows 95 app N2hq (written by Dane Johnson) and I'm
curious what the driver settings mean and how they change the car's
behavior.  For example,

Jeff Gordon

Power: 525-575
Traction: 525-575
Drag: 131-181
Agression: 475-525

My Settings

Power: 375-500
Traction: 375-500
Drag: 125-250
Agression: 375-500

If I increase my traction values, will my traction actually increase on
the track?  What about the rest of the settings?

Thanks,
Dale

Regarding the settings for the human driver, these do not effect the
car's performance you drive.  However, these numbers when changed for
the rest of the AI driven cars do make a difference.  For a good an
excellent explanation on what the numbers do and how they effect each
other read the recent post in r.a.s. by Doug Reichley under the Subject:
Drivers2.txt.  Even though his post relates to ICR2 directly, the same
principles apply to NASCARs 1 & 2.
