On behalf of all of the normal thinking people who race N2 I would like to

have never made any contribution to the game and paid absolutely nothing

DOS. Does this make a difference in installing? The absolute #1 site for N2
is http://www.racesimcentral.net/
Please don't let these jack-offs hinder your enthusiasm.

>As far as your comment about the dirt, it is the one valid comment that you did make
>(although I really wish that the Microsoft one was true, I could really do with making

I actually do get my dirt-track stock car fix by racing SODA on
oval tracks (or a couple Figure-8 tracks I made).  It's quite fun!
OK, so they're not cars, but those little buggies might just as well
be street stockers, the way they can bash into each other and keep
going.  Racing a 15-20 lap race on a tight Figure-8 track in the
2x4 trucks, though, is like an endurance race...not many make it to
the finish (the computer AI doesn't give a toss whether you're leading
or not when it gets to the intersection, and it doesn't notice you're
on a collision course, so never attempts to alter its line to avoid
a big smack in the X ... wonder if there's any online Figure-8 racing
going on with SODA...humans who actually know how to run an 8).

This thread's a bit-long in the tooth, no?

Hi Ron,

You can talk to some real, live SODA racers at:

    http://signgraphics.com/clubsoda/index.html

Post a message to the message-board for figure-8 racers.

I like racing buggies, but mainly race realistic tracks.
Check out our Top 10 tracks and the Hall of Fame.
