GPLdump and GPL 1.2?

GPLdump and GPL 1.2?

by David Mocn » Sat, 04 Dec 1999 04:00:00

Is there a 1.2 compatible GPLdump yet? If not, is there a hack to the old one
that will alow reading of 1.2 replays?

Also, what/where is the "flag" in the RPY file that determines the RPY version
number ... I've seen this posted .. it was a simple single byte change to make
it 1.1 compliant.

Thanks and regards,
David Mocnay

Hex edit v1.2 replay to change the 5th byte from 00 to 02.

Got the bytes mixed up. You should change the 5th byte from whatever to 00

I know nothing of Hex editing - if anyone can do this and send it to me I
would be eternally grateful !
Andrew.

Eh ... it's all your replays that need editing, not GPLDump. Someone could
(not me) come up with a program that edits the 5th byte from a replay file.

And please note that I made a mistake below: 5th byte of replay files needs
to be set to 00, not 02.

GPLdump and GPL 1.2?

Carsten, I downloaded your convr10.zip, unzipped it, and tried to run the
exe file, but when I did, I instantly received an "Error Starting Program"
message, that said, "A required .DLL file, CW3215.DLL, was not found."

Does anyone else have this same problem? I was really e***d about seeing
this work, so that I could view 1.2 replays in GPLDump, but I'm obviously
missing this needed file. Would anyone that does have it be willing to mail
it to me? I sure would be grateful.

Thanks,
Burke Wells

Hi,
I made it...
It supports drag and drop like Papyrus' pbf2tga.exe
and it's located on my homepage:

happy racing...

Sorry, but I forgot to add a DLL.
( It was a little bit late yesterday... ;-) )
I'll update the tool as soon as I got back from work
