Did you already patch it?
Here you can get the patch:
http://www.simracingnews.com/
BTW: without the patch the game has troubles with 32bit display

Hey kurt,

I see you have found the game ... In Belgium or did you ordered it on the
web.
Thx BTW for the info you supplied me...

The same ocurred on my pc which has a sblive! in. I had read earlier
in the rc2000 manual that if you enable the EAX option in the advanced
audio options in the audio-setup menu, that it enables Creative Labs'
Environmental Audio Extensions, also it said EAX is used to to provide
reverb effects. Anyway when I enabled I had this same error message
displayed, I went back in and disabled and the game now works fine,
apart from the fact that if I go out of the game back into windows I
find I can only run the game again once I've rebooted windows. It's
certainly fun to play this game, although the handling of the cars is
flawed as we all know. But the amount of problems I've been having
trying to to run the game on 2 pc's it's just about putting me off
altogether, let's hope a patch or patches start coming soon.
