problems with adding tracks

by mark.l.. » Mon, 27 Oct 1997 03:00:00

I have been having a serious problem with Nascar 2.  After I
installed the game, I had to install the upgrade to get my driving
wheel to work.  No problem, it seems like it's very common problem.
My problem is that if I make the slightest change in the game it won't
load.  I can't add these different tracks that are around (daytona,
indianapolis, vegas, california, texas), I can't change the calendar
to the 98 season.  I can't even make changes to the cars with paintkit
or the game won't load.  I have deleted and reinstalled the game
several times because once I have made any changes to the game it
refuses to start up again.  Has anybody had this problem or have any
ideas of what could be the cause or a possible solution?

as far as 'protection bits' in win95... it's simply a matter of right
clicking the file, selecting "properties", and then making sure that the
'read only' or 'hidden' attribute is not selected.... the only one that
should be enabled on a file that is to be written to often, is the
'archive' bit.

Or the protection bits may have been set.

LOL Henry.... I wish ! I have to ask questions, too...
although I'm willing to play the part of tech support to the Hawaiian
Islands, if I can find someone to pay the travel bills... hehehe
