www.sierra.de asking what we'd like to see now that the NR series is
ending with N2003. So far GPL2 is taking all comers.

$10 says Petter Solberg wins the 2003 WRC.
I'd like to see GPL2, but a Touring Car or Indy Car sim made by Papy on the
technical level of N2003 or beyond would be a blast as well.
GPL2 would probably sell mainly to *** online sim racing fans, while a
Touring Car / Sports Car (GTR?) or Indycar sim might appeal to a much larger
audience, which would make it more likely that we'd get sequels.
Sure, for some of us getting the '67 season was a particular blast, and I
was one of them, but I think most of us would have been equally impressed by
a Sportscar or Indycar sim with the incredibly advanced features GPL offered
at the time of its release, simply because apart from the time GPL
simulates, we all admire the technical expertise and programming genius that
has flown into it.
Voting for Touring Cars or Indycars might be more realistic and have a
greater chance of actually becoming reality.

I love historical racing and would be happy with any 1950-1990 era sim
from any of the major sports (F1, CART, Nascar, WSC, IMSA, etc). When
it comes down to it, for me, you can't beat the diversity in CART.

Touring cars might be a little easier to drive overall due to their using
mostly tracks custom built for racing.
However, Indycars would cater for both RC and Oval fans, hence it might be
the best of both worlds, and if they maintain the N2k3 track format, each
group should get the opportunity to build add-on tracks to their liking.

Technically, we just want a non-NASCAR release by Papyrus that is geared
towards the simulation. There's no series we wouldn't mind.
