They claim the physics model is better but after playing the demo and
EA's past track record with NR I'm not about ready to rely on their
marketing spiel.
It seems to be nothing more than NR with some tweaks for frame rates,
force feedback still sucks and bogs the system down like mad and the
track graphics are not all that great. The cars are the best ever, would
love to see Papy incorporate cars like these in N4. AI plays ya more
like demolition derby than real drivers, maybe they took the AI from
NASCAR Rumble. :) AI is about as challenging as a field of old lady
drivers, they mainly line up in double file to only give you obstacles
to drive around and then they smack into you and cause those oh so
ridiculous flip inducing wrecks.
If this is supposed to be NASCAR 2000, then why does Stewart still have
a rookie stripe on his bumper? Seems they're as behind the times in cars
as they are with the game. At this point the game looks like the same
game in new clothing, only thing that could possibly save it would be a
good physics model in the sim mode otherwise it's another bust for EA.
