F1RC does not recognise my Act Labs Force RS wheel!

And I hate driving with the keyboard and just looking at my killer wheel.
Does anybody have a solution?

F1RC does not recognise my Act Labs Force RS wheel!

Hi Thomas! Sadly I am too having the same problem with my Act Labs FF Wheel!
I have contacted Ubisoft and they said with the upcoming patch that it
should be fixed!
Indeed my other wheel, Logitech FF, is only partially recognised by this
game also whilst in all my other Driving games , GP3, GPL, F12000 Champ, NFS
Porche etc etc both my wheels work fine!

Go Figure!

Hopefully the patch will work because the game looks great and the AI should
be fixed with this patch also.

I was told a solution.

Some of my Leagur budiies www.simracing.dk told me that the game has a hard
time detecting yur wheel if it is a USB wheel. But they provided me with a
workaround. If you open your *** options in the control panel of Windows
(I run Win98SE) and go into the properties of your Act Labs wheel, and leave
this open, when starting your F1RC session it should work.
And so it does for me. Not a perfect solution I know, but at least a
functioning workaround. I hope this works for you too.

it's strange I have a USB actlabs and F1RC just worked perfectly, I had the
problem with the demo (like hold the mouse button on the calibration scree
when you move the wheel) but for the game it always worked great since the
start.

Did you try the latest Al drivers, and direct x ?

What do you mean that the LWFF is only "partially recognized"?  My LWFF seems to
work fine with F1RC.  In fact, I have it located on ID #2, as I use multiple
controlllers for some sims (GPL, N4 etc).  Actually, that's my only gripe about
the F1RC controller set-up.  I would like to use my TSW's pedals with my LWFF,
but can't seem to get both recognized within the sim.  Multiple controllers
worked with F1RS and MGPRS -- Why not with this?
