- TNT2 or Voodoo3 for NASCAR and GPL 1999-03-24 · 53 postsA player upgrading from a Voodoo1 asked whether to buy a TNT2 or Voodoo3 for NASCAR 1999 and GPL. Voodoo supporters stressed Glide compatibility with Papyrus sims, while TNT supporters said Direct3D and OpenGL made that moot, and posters traded reports of driver bugs. One user eventually got GPL's OpenGL beta working on a TNT card after reinstalling.
- Can GPL run well on a TNT1 graphics card? 2000-05-23 · 22 postsBarry Cuff could not get GPL running in 3D mode on a TNT card. One poster claimed GPL only worked on 3dfx and Rendition cards, but others said the OpenGL beta2 patch with a reduced mirror refresh rate gave good frame rates on TNT and TNT2 cards with a strong CPU. Dave Henrie questioned whether any of them reached a full 36fps in the cockpit.
