I thought Superbike 2001 and F355 Challenge had amazingly detailed tracks,
but they don't compare to how WSC is looking. I've never seen so much
modelling of track side objects, hills, trees, fences etc. The view of the
back of the pit buildings from the straight behind them is awesome to see.
Also looks like they've modelled every little bump on the track surface.
The quality of the textures is also looking a notch above everything else
I've seen. For instance, the way the grass joins the track. The grass
doesn't stop, it wears thin as it nears the track edge. Little touches like
this, which are everywhere in the video, add that little bit extra to visual
realism.
The cars look gorgeous, and they certainly move how they should. Can't wait
to see this baby running on my own PC :)
