Thanks.  Ok well I have no idea why it doesn't work well here.   Everything
else works fine.

LFS 1.0 Release plans!

When you say "doesn't work well", what exactly do you mean (i.e. poor FPS,
won't load up, etc)?

Have you tried posting your problem over at the Race Sim Central forum. They
have a very active LFS forum (even the LFS developers participate in that
forum as well).

The car is invisible when viewing it externally.  Beyond that the frame rate
seems low to me.  Haven't played around with it much actually.

LFS 1.0 Release plans!

I also have had problems with LFS and a Radeon 8500, however, I found
that under WinXP Pro, nothing I tried made any difference, but turning
off TCL in Radeonator (or any of the Radeon tweakers) made a huge
difference in Win2K. I still can't play it properly with WinXP Pro
tho, and that would be nice.

I'm running in XP as well.  Perhaps it has a problem under XP.

I'm running Win XP Pro, and it works fine here. I haven't tried viewing the
car from outside recently (I was always using***pit view), but I'll give
the outside view a try tonight.

I use Rage3D's Tweaker and I have TCL enabled (which I use to have to
disable with the earlier builds of LFS). However, from what I read on the
LFS forum, they (LFS Team) corrected the ATi FPS problem with patch 0.1F2.

I found this on LFS's website (FAQ section), that may help you (hopefully).
"I am seeing no cars, but I do see their shadows!

Try turning OFF: options/misc/simple car and shadow. And Lo or HI shadows
in: options/graphics/"

When it works with my ECCI controller I may consider it, but can't play it
now so...
