There is a review of it in the May issue of PC *** World, a quick
skim through the review suggests it is more arcade than simulation.

Everything in the game is great except the AI cars.  They are so dam
slow.  The sound is awesome, pure F1.  The graphics are pretty good
also.  There's almost no visible draw-in at all.  The frame rates stay
up even with many cars on the screen at once. It has every conceivable
camera angle, also has dynamic camera movements.  Static, Dynamic 1,
2, and 3.  When set to 3, the driver looks at the corner as you
approach it.  CART Precision Racing also had this same feature
although it can take some getting used to.  Lots and lots of attention
to detail in the graphics.  If they can do something about the slow
AI, it could be a really good F1 game.  A good mix of sim and arcade.
Oh, and it gives you one hell of a sense of speed.

3 Words for those of you thinking of getting it.
"No Visible Damage"

Is becoming an annoying trend or what?

You call tyres coming off the rim & the front wing flapping about not
visible?

The AI cars are ridiculously slow which spoils the game badly, and the
version I played has no d3d acceleration for my TNT card.
If they sort these problems out for the release it'll be a pretty cool game.
(The dynamic views are top!)

Just don't ask ware I got it ; )

I haven't noticed the damage since I play with it turned off.  These
very slow AI cars are too easy to rear end.  Also, I was watching one
of the AI cars from the***pit view and noticed it was only hitting a
top speed of 185mph on the long sections of Spa.  I'm able to hit over
200mph just like the real F1 cars.  Why are the AI cars so limited?!
Who tests these games out when they complete them?  Rank amateurs?
They need to get some real sim players with lots of experience to test
drive these games in their beta stages!  AArrgggh!

If computer cars are too slow, try wet tire on dry condition.
This game is really fun.
 I love it !

I love it too.  Once a patch speeds up the AI, this game could very
well be a big hit.  It's a perfect mix of arcade and simulation...
And the sounds, they're music to the ears.  I've never heard an F1
engine sound so good in a game...

Less grip, more damage would be nice,  and this game has
most spectacular replay,
most accurate tracks,
most powerful force effect  (I have Force RS, and broke my arm)

So where are you guys getting the program from. Is this all demo stuff or
have you bought it in a store?
Cheers,
Paul
