running a NASCAR championship season on Indycar tracks

by @qmail.bs.jhu.ed » Mon, 06 May 1996 04:00:00

1. Many of us have had the pleasure of racing NASCAR cars on Indycar tracks.

2. Has anyone figured out how to change the tracks that are run in the
NASCAR championship season such that the Indycar tracks are added in place
of a NASCAR track.

e.g. Instead of starting with Rockingham, Richmond, Atlanta, etc.
Start with Rcokingham, Detroit, Australia, etc.

3. I'm hoping that this can be done with a simple text editor.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, all you have to do is open the calendar file using a text editor
and add the race and a date for the race (it should be in the NASCAR
directory). I added Watkins Glen, Atlanta, Sears Point and Pocono to
my Indy season.

I could be wrong but I remember reading on the Internet
somewhere that you can edit the calender file of Nascar.
Look for something along those lines and see how you go.
