The T2 steering wheel is really worth it's money I think. It is a lot of
money but it improves game playing so much that it is worth it!
When I got it, my times improved so much I couldn't believe it. I am now
the record holder for most of the tracks (Long Beach is my favorit).

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Catch ya l8tr.

Buy the Wheel ! ! ! ! !
My lap times increased by 5-8mph with a lot of practice.  You will not
be disappointed by buying the T2.  IT freekin' rules.  It's just like
you are driving and it makes the sim more realistic

I have been happy with my T2. I didnt want to spend $300-500 for a
wheel so I spent $100 bucks and accepted the fact that it wont last
forever. From what I understand, Thrustmaster will provide free pedal
springs and stuff like that. If you have the $300-500 to spend, the
ECC and TSW are worth a look.

One thing is for sure. The wheel will make you fall in love with the
games all over again

It's funny how these things work- I bought a T2, and became too lazy
to ever put in the joystick to play anything but racing games...

But it is a great wheel, for the money. And what I keep hearing about
ThrustMaster's tech support, I feel even happier about the purchase. '

BTW, I put a 1.5-foot 2-by-4 behind my pedals, so that it lays flat
and against the wall. This lessens the travel of the pedals, which I
prefer. I also think it might be easier on my springs, and maybe even
pots.

Having the steering wheel is a great improvement, but I think the real bonus is
in having analog gas and brake.  You simply can not work many of the track
correctly without it.  For example, at a track like Bristol, if I nail the gas
coming out of the turn, around I go... but a gentle acceleration to full
throttle keeps the car going straight and gives me good lap speeds.

Another thing is consistency...with a Joystick analog like i use it cant get
very difficult to be accurate on each corner and when doing fast moves to
overtake in traffic... with a wheel well its almost like driving a real car i
guess so your control over the car must be really great! I'd love to have one
but they are so expensive...i'll try to buy an old one from someone...

I built a 'car' out of wood to put my T1 in.   If I can then anyone
can.   Take a look at:
