I'm off over to Nottingham for an ice hockey game on Saturday evening and
thought about speding an afternoon at the Donington Collection.  The last
time I went was 9 years ago and I think its about time I went again,
especially now that I have GPL.

Has anyone been recently who can tell me if there are any new exhibits
there?

Cheers

Phil

Don't know, but be sure and take some GOOD photo's that you can post on the
web.

No problem, although as I don't have a digital camera it may be a few days
before I can post them.  I'll create a page on my web site for the photos
when I've got them developed and scanned.

Anyone want photos of any particular car?  As far as I know they have most
of the GPL cars.

Cheers

Phil

I was there recently. They have a nice collection of 80's and 90's Williams,
and a big collection of McLarens, a display opened in 1997. The highlight
for me was the car driven by Senna at the Donnington GP of '93, therefore
the car that was arguably responsible for the greatest single GP lap of all
time !

For the GPL era, they have a '67 Brabham and a '67 BRM. There's also a lot
of other late 60's stuff, including an AAR. They claim it is the largest
collection of single-seaters in the world.
