Anyone know if infield parking still avail at Donington Park

Hi,

Subject says it all. I'd like to go to the Auto-Union meeting at
Donington tomorrow and need to know if i will be able to park
on the infield. We used to 4-5 years ago (last time I went) but
I'm not sure if they still allow it.

I rang them but office is closed

TIA

Maxx

AFAIK, yes. You cetainly could for the Group C revival meeting last
year.

Expect some changes then - not to the circuit, but on the ground.
There's a *lot* more gravel replacing grass on the infield - most of
the parking is now hard standing, which is nice as it usually rains.

The section alongside the start-finish is much wider and flatter than
it was, and the grandstand opposite the pits is more stable, though
the pit wall is too high - ***y F1 :-(

Toilets and refreshments still not up to standard, though.

Thanks Dave & Colin.

I always used to park on the bank alongside the start-finsih straight.
You could get a good view of the start and redgate, plus you could
see most of Starkeys and up theough MacLeans over the back.
Also, the chicance was always fun (club circuit) ad you've not
got far to go to the Paddock
