Yes, and to thiink I used to have 4 servers setup for the GPL
community to use for free! I know that they went unused for most of
their life. I wish I still could have them up and running :-( Oh well
maybe someday they will return.

Are they your own?

We pay 150 for 3 months of Jolt 24 car capactity. We're coming to
the end of our first season, next starts in a couple of weeks. First
season the members stumpted up, this season we got sponsorship from
the Tech Admin's employer. We also had an offer of sponsorship from a
race team which we're still toyin with but their demands may prove too
high...

Funding is the single biggest headache we have - I'm sure it's the
same with many others.

Oh, for free bandwidth...

I'm curious - what kind of demands?

I can believe it. I know a couple of other guys who run multiple servers.
They all either work in the IT department of a university, or know the guys who
DO.

Yeah, I've been pretty lucky, I admit. When I leave this job, I wonder how
much I'll be able to do server-wise...
