They're adding a lot of detail selections in, and with low-detail
textures and low-detail tracks, I'm sure the 400Mhz can do a nice run,
although ofcourse you'll be thirsting for better. The physics won't
matter too much CPU-wise.

Like us all, Dave Kaemmers imaginary idea of a 1967 GP car has surpassed
real life data of Geoff Crammond, Dave McMillan and "Mr. Ubisoft" in their
sims. How extraordinary!!

Because it wasn't the ultimate sales target, was it?

Adding actual data and actual realism rather then a generalised view of
Formula Vee's with higher top speeds? :-)

I said (paraphrasing) 1968 F1 changed the rules allowing wings and
other safety features to the cars b/c of several fatal crashes.

Best at what. Gameplay? not! for me anyway N4
has better gameplay. Best of driving around
enjoying the physics? I would say yes. I enjoy
the driving experience of GPL but enjoy the racing
experience more in N4. Just my .02 I love GPL
the tracks addons etc,but for me racing N4 seems
to offer better gameplay. Each sim does something
better then the other sim. As I said before "best" is
a relative term meaning different things to different people,
and what each person is looking for in a sim.

Viper is one hell of a simulation, especially for "beginners"
in the *** sim area that is reigned by GPL. You'll be
amazed how you try to shave off tenths at Castlegreen ;-)

And that's quite impossible, as it doesn't simulate modern F1 as
good as GP3 and it really sucks as a Nascar sim...

Actually, I was merely defining the word "best" - I never mentioned GPL or
