Microprose has officially announced that a newtwork GP2 version will be
worked on
by the GP2 team, it is not clear wether it will be a add on or a seperate
game as yet,
and is expected in a couple of months - after Geoff returns from a break !

Ya, and what about fixing the basics, like modem play?! If they can't
handle that, I can't wait to crawl on their network patch!

Ok- thats great that there will be a network version... But what about the
update? I think thats the first priority.

Even though my friend and I have had good success with GP2,
over the modem (19200, 133 to a Pro200, very playable frame
rate), I agree that the modem play should be improved.
When NASCAR and ICR2 are just a quick in modem play as
they are in stand alone, it speaks to GP2 to make an
improvement.

ok,let's hope this's not another "GOLD" incident again,anyone who brought
the floppy version of 1942 Pacific Air War(from MicroProse) should know
what I mean.

I can tell you that Geoff came back from his week break on the south coast
a couple of weeks back. I know this because he left his kids with my
neighbours sister. Evedentually up until the launch of GP2 he worked non
stop and did not see his wife and family for some time.
