- Scan a passport picture of yourself.
- Use paintshop pro (or similar) to resize it and put a white border around
it. (Make it black and white if you want to.....)
- Convert it to a pbf file.
- Rename the file driver01.pbf and copy it into layout.dat
et voila, your own picture appears in the menu screens and newspaper
reports....

Sorry, but how can you copy a file "into" another ?? And how do you
convert a graficfile (jpg etc.) into *,pbf ??

You should also be able to write the picture out as a .bmp file, name it
player.bmp, and put it in your player's directory. There's no need to
stuff it into layout.dat.

Well, I receive mails of this ng not directly from the INet but from the
Fidonet...I have Internetaccess as well but I HATE do download mails that
are not comprimated (sp?) in any way (as they are in the Fidonet).
BTW: I changed the configuration of my Pointmailer - but it's not
standard in Fido.
