Road & Track presents Grand Prix?

While once again browsing through the Super K-mart software archives, I saw
Road & Track presents Grand Prix Racing, or something like that.  I didn't
have a chance to read much of the box, or see how old it was.  Does anybody
have this game, and if so, what is it like?

It has a track editor included with it.  Other than that it isn't very
good.  I'd pass on it if I were you.

Its a reference CD and they also label a racing game thats worse than
pole position. There is also a "set" of cds under this name that have
some of the older and certainly outdated games. When games
stop selling in the stores. They pack 'em all together for around 35
bucks and try to sell you alot of games you dont want at once! ":>}

Does anyone know how to slow this game down?  When I run it on a p100,
the CPU processes so fast that the game is unplayable.

It is a godawful old GP arcade game. I remember that it didn't
compensate for the speed of the CPU and ran too fast on a 386/33 !

Avoid like Eddie Irvine.

I found this site when I was out and about. It has a bunch of different
slow down utils.

There are many utils for that one is Mo'slo. I used it for Test Drive
3. Worked pretty good. I lost it when my hd decided to go on permenant
vacation. I got it from a friend who found it on AOL. It should be out
there somewhere.

I think it is pretty old about '92-'94 maybe. My friend has the Road
&Track Gran Prix game and it features F1 cars on some really awful
tracks. The graphics on the game are pretty bad now but back then they
were one of the best. Get if you want, don't make me change your mind!

I once owned a copy of "Road & Track Presents - Grand Prix Unlimited". It's
now about 3 years old.
If this is the game you are referring to, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Honestly, I'm always on the lookout for motor racing sims, and this one was
one of the most disappointing I've come across. Terrible graphics, bad
handling. Had a track editor also, equally bad.

All the best,
