GP3 and Data

Does anyone know if it's possible to view telemetry data from GP3 or any
other F1 sim whilst it's running?

Also does anyone know any links which detail the file structure of the GP3
saved files? I need to be able to recreate the race using the data on a
model moved by actuators.

Ultimately looking at building a full scale model which would recreate the
forces that would be felt during the race.

Any links on telemetry data files would be appreciated.

There's a live output option in Racer, which sends out data on a UDP
port. Currently that's only acceleration (it's meant for a moving
pneumatic chair), but with the source it isn't too hard to add things,
and I might even do so myself in the future (make things optional).
Racer's last version should do F1 cars quite ok (although these babies
are very very stiff).

I don't have info on the GP3 front, sorry.

I'd say you'd need little more than accelerations for now, then.
Ofcourse, real gauges are an idea too (and would be pretty easy to
stuff in the output stream as well too).

No -it's reverse engineered from the replay (hence the pause when
downloading data from car)
