Hawaii-Dega jerks!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm getting tired of being
crashed by TOTALLY STUPID moves.  I was coming off turn 2 got a run on
the 3rd place guy and was pulling up next to him and he decides to turn
left to block, too late WRECK half way down the straight.  Another thing
that gets me is guys that run the white line down the straight.  I don't
do this, if a guy is faster and can pass, I'll pass him back later (
unless the above happens).  If I can't pass him back the I don't belong
infront of him.  While I'm venting on the subject of Dega, what the hell
is with the idoits that SLAM draft you?  Taps I don't mind, but when a
guy slams you so you get out of control, that bites.  Oh and another
thing, I really like the guys that try and pass you for a few laps and
then decide to wreck you because they can't pass fair and square.  Oh
yeah one more thing, on the starts.  What is with the driving two wide on
the apron in the first turn, then two to 3 wide on the track?  That makes
5 wide, I've seen it.  Only about 2 of them continued on.   STAY IN LINE
FOR TURN ONE!!!!!  Well I guess I vented enough for one night.  I'm not
saying that I've never caused a wreck, but not to the degree of blocking
or driving down to the grass to pass.  My problem is I hate to lift, but
I USUALLY do.

There is a way to cure Dega-itus. Don't run at Dega. It works.

I'll tell you what, it's not only Dega anymore. I raced Bristol last
night (Monday 7/29), and there were two idiots who could not let faster
people pass them. One of them goes by the name of Psycho, and the other
was TA(something). These guys are bad news. Watch out.

Out of four races I tried to run, I finished one, only because it was a
no-damage race. Every other one there were a bunch of punks crashing
everyone trying to pass them.

Looks like only league racing from now on.

I'm with you Sean, I only have one question, why when you start a race
at Talladega are cars and people able to get along side each other?  I
know first gear is going to have a little to do with it but, before the
green flag drops doesn't everyone sit there with there foot on the
floor?  Sometime I race with 20-30 people, and it seem like somebody up
front forgets to puch the loud pedal at all, talk about a wreck, geesh!

I don't understand why people insist on blocking either, if your close
enough to pass, your going to get by them anyway. One thing I hate is
when you run down the backstraight at Talldega, and you draft halfway by
someone and going into turn three they decide there going to run the low
line.  In this situation, I usually drive through the middle lane in
turn 3 and then drop down to the inside through four, and draft through
the tri-oval and pass in turn one.

Because they don't always get the green flag. There's a bug in the system
that makes the flags, "One Lap Until Green", and "Pass"/"Stay Behind"
messages unreliable. If your computer doesn't get the green flag on a race
without a pace lap, you sit on the grid.

I don't understand why drivers can't stay in line during the 1st lap until
everyone gets up to speed. That's what causes the inevitable first turn
crash, as cars go 4 and 5 wide.

Of course, I can't understand why people insist on running Talladega race
after race, night after night, week after week... ad nauseum...

Jason,
I think I can answer the question about people not starting the same
time.  I have had MANY times where my pedal was to the floor and I still
started like 1-2 seconds after everyone else.  Believe me I hate it,
people think you are sleeping but you're not.  Now I'm prepared to weave
left, (if on inside) and weave right (if on outside).

That's happened to me a couple of times too. An extra second seems like an
hour when your watching everyone else go. I reported it to Hawaii_help.
Haven't got a response yet.
