N3 calibrate wheel every time

Anyone have any idea why I have to recalibrate the Wheel (NASCAR Pro
Racing Wheel) everytime I load up Nascar 3?
Does everyone have to recalibrate the wheel evertime you restart the
game? I Have NO controls when I load the game.

Thanks Don

Thanks

No I don't need to calibrate each time.
In fact sometimes I don't have the wheel plug in and can go in
and out of N3 without problems. Next time in with the wheel
plugged in and the calibration is as it was.
I don't know way N3 is forgetting your calibration.

Try plugging your wheel before switching your rig on it might help but if it
doesn't I have no clue!

Sorry Don I have no clue then...
I have solved the problem calibrating the wheel...
What might help though is to after you got in the game and everything is ok,
multitask back to Win. and go to the game directory copy the .cfg
(wcntrs.cfg) files to
another location (then when the problem occurs again copy them back) or make
them read only? Anyway this is just a theory similar thing helped me  solve
the GPL calibrating problem...

How did you solve the problem in GPL?
I have the same problem as Don, recalibrating every time I want to play.
Thanks

I just said it ... In GPL I had a different wheel calibration depending on
each track (ok not every track), but any time you start GPL without the
wheel
plugged in you mess up the calibration so just unzip the config file
overwriting the existing one...
