yes you do, and I think in the long run you will be happier.
As new sims come out, the "feel" of driving is getting better and
better. If you start limiting your skills by choosing arcade options,
then each new title will be that much harder to come-to-grips-with.
I am an absolutely HORRIBLE sim driver, but I get the most sastifaction
when I turn off all the aids and "try" and compete without arcade help.
One question...Are you using some sort of gamepad for your driving?
A good wheel/pedal combo really can help.
