I don't know about the demo, but the final version for the pc is total
crap. Avoidavoidavoid and buy GTA3 instead.

I'll second that.

Granted, Crazy Taxi is fun in the arcade and on the Dreamcast. I just
wouldn't waste money to play it on a PC.

I'll third it. GTA3 for the PC does Crazy Taxi better than Crazy Taxi does
Crazy Taxi!. You just steal a cab and hit the Caps Lock key (I think).
