GP2: Full tank practice?

I do not have the GP2 yet but I would like to know whether it features
different fuel load in pre-race practice or qualifying. I would like to test
my race setup without starting a full race like I have to do in F1GP1.
Also the annoying feature of GP1 is that drivers that are lap down don't give you
room for passing . Is that fixed in GP2, which as I understand has generally
more inteligent AI?

You can change & modify everything except tires.

This sim has absolutely the *BEST* AI of any game I have ever played,
bar none.  The back markers will pull off line to let you pass & the
leaders will give you hell trying to out-brake you in to the corners,
but if you have the line, they will back off & do their best not to
hit you.

Unfortunately, full race-length testing in practice in GP2 is a
complete waste of time. You will find that you can do a certain speed
in qualifying, but still using the same setup and fuel load, in the
race you will be 3 - 4 seconds slower.

GP2's AI is second to none. Backmarkers will move over to let you
through but sometimes, just as in real life, they will ignore you -
particularly if they are in a battle of their own.

yes the back markers do give way if they c u .sometimes their more
dangerous
than the the drivers in f1gp as at least u knew what they were going to do
