F1RS Sound Files- wierdness

Has anyone noticed that when you use some of the sound files availible
that the game plays differently?

I noticed this most when I started racing on Monza. I used to go through
the first chicane in first. But when I changed the sound files I now
change up to second after the first left, right. I also noticed a change
in my lap times. I'm suddenly going faster. ( not that it's a bad thing
<G> ). I think I first noticed this at Spa, but I wasn't really paying
attention (I was too busy!).

I get most of my files from the Unofficial site.

Has anyone else seen this?
