running a short race as a test (which you could have done as well).
My conslusions...
The F2 standings only list you making a pit stop while you are
actually getting service. That is the only way the computer is sure
you are "pitting" (otherwise you might be just passing through the
pits or have missed your pit).
Once a race is completed, you are not allowed to make a pit stop.
This seems logical, since there is no need for service once the race
is completed, right?
Putting these two logical design decisions together results in you
not being listed as pitted when you pit at the end of the race. I
guess you'll have to live with it and settle for the closure of the
checkered flag (works for me).
On taking the yellow, sometimes it takes a while for the entire
field to see the yellow (at the S/F line?), then a lap to get the
waving flag, then however far behind the leader on that lap you are
for you to take the waving flag. That could easily add up to two laps
(maybe even three?). The location on the track of the yellow and the
ability of the Pace Car to get in front of the pack are factors as
well.
As far as the Arcade mode running away from you, why not reduce the
opposition strength? That's what it's there for.
Sorry, but to me it seems like a lot of pissing and moaning over
relatively meaningless details, IMHO.
