But then again, Blizzard patched Diablo II almost 2 years after it's
release.

We're still waiting...

I remember hearing that Papy was trying to get a patch out by April,
but they obviously blew that timeframe. :)

I am a little bit worred that we might never see a patch at all, or
one that really fixes anything siginificant.  I am sure Papy would
love to, but I but they get pressure from the publisher too just
forget it.  I mean what is the motivation...

So post a URL referring to the NG posts and he will have heard....that way we will know for sure
that PApy is aware of it and it can be corrected.

Considering that the VRW and MHO*** servers are filled with
posters/lurkers that are related to Papyrus (either ex-testers, beta
testers, ex-employees, etc..) , I find very bizarre that a Papy employee
would contradict what most of the people are seeing while racing, that they
don't know of any cheat.

It's the #4324 case of Papy employees vs. their customers.

Or perhaps it's just denying for the sake of PR denying.  Works for the
government, no? ;)

I've never seen a working RAM cheat for 2003, nor to my knowledge has
any current Papyrus or Sierra employee.  The beta testers were in fact
specifically tasked by me to try and duplicate the cheats that were
possible in previous products, but there were no reports that they were
ever successful.  If you or anyone else has definitive proof to
contradict that, please let us know (and by that I mean more than simply
saying PlayerX is faster than me, so he must be cheating).

If you or anyone else has definitive proof to

The same motivation that kept Papy employees supporting GPL.

Frankie, he said a working RAM cheat.  F-50 and the A James guys are rumored
to be related, or live close to Huggins.  If you remember, Huggins wasn't
into ram cheating.

Uh, oh... New NR2003 Cheat?

Dude, I was THERE.

It was a race that REQUIRED a pit stop.  There was NO WAY to finish it
without a pit stop.

EVERY car that tried ran out of gas except the guy who won.  Period.

There is no jumping to conclusions here.  Facts are facts.

Larry

I considered posting the screen name when I wrote the original posting, but
decided not to.  Now I don't remember it (really).

I WILL know it if I see it again, though.
