MGPRS2 and TNT

Hi

Since I installed my TNT card ( STB Velocity 4400 AGP 16 Mb ), MGPRS2 did not even accept to start !

I downloaded the most recent drivers from NVidia site ( namely "Detonator drivers" v 4.11.01.0109 ), and installed them.

Now, big progress: the game starts !

The options menus are OK.
But when it comes to the game iltself - down to the starting grid -  the
screen shows a very dark image, with strange and erratic colors.

Unplayable.

Maybe I missed some fine tuning.

Any help ?

Thanks

My PC:
Mobo: FIC PA2013 (Socket 7) 1Mb L2

RAM: 128 Mb PC 100 ECC
Video: STB Velocity 4400 nVidia TNT 16 Mb
OS: Win 98 and DirectX 6

Nope you have not missed any thing. I have not been able to use my Viper550
(TNT chipset) with Monaco. Maybe Ubisoft will release a patch to make it
work. Lets hope so.

I installed the latest Detonator drivers and the graphics quality in MGPRS2
worsened considerably  (I tried all the Direct3D settings) with a lot of
visual tearing.  Going back to the nVidia 0.48 drivers fixed the problem
(setting 0 mipmap level and disabling mipmap dithering).

BTW, the Detonator drivers are actually slower than the .048 drivers in most
of the benchmark test results from the following review:

The answer for the graphics problems is to get a 3dfx card.

Hi guys I had the same problem i set the mip mapping to 0 bilinear
filtering and used best image quality, and wow runs like shit of a
shovel.  Also it supports resolutions up to 1920 x lot.  this is on a
CL TNT with the detanator drivers.
