Yeah, and my setup would mask the rest of all those physic goodies.

I guess we can stop right here. Um... Try Force Feedback.

Dork. You have to be trolling the NG by comparing N3 to
NASREV.

The GPL engine may be a year "old", but then some games and physics engines
get old quickly, whereas the GPL engine is ageing in style. Its like Tina
Turner, 60yrs old and still alive and kickin butt, the N3 engine is more
like Frank Sinatra <G>

Well One of the games that comes to mind is World Sports Cars.
You can see about it here.

There are a couple of other sim as well but We'll Probably find out alot
more by Christmas.
Cya on the *** Tracks in year 2000 and beyond.

Where have you been? There've been A LOT of people saying just (or thinking)
just that. That if N4 incorporates the GPL physics engine the stock cars
would handle like '67 GP cars. And this is wrong. The beauty of GPL engine
lies in its scalability. You can enter whichever car's parameters including
tyre dynamics, engine specs, suspension values etc. into it, and you'd get
realistic handling of that vechile. Be it a school bus or a go-kart. That's
what the GPL engine is about.

Huh?!?

You are only repeating what many people here have.  You just dropped to a
lower lever of how to say it.   I too would like a better engine.  I
disagree with your comment about the GPL engine.  It is the only SIM where I
REALLY feel like I'm driving a car.

It would be nice if we could just get a few things:

- Punch the throttle of a 700hp car and you should have no control.
Especially if the car is loose coming off the corners.
- Slamming on the brakes at 150mph should lock up the tires and you should
not be able to hold onto the car.

Your challenge intrigues me.  If I had NASREV I'd take the challenge.
