Well put David.

It is far more enjoyable to me to run two 50% length races a week than
it is to run 25 5-10% races.

        I was talking with someone yesterday about cable modems.  He is in
the test market here in Fremont, CA.  I guess they are charging approx.
$40 a month.  That's for the rental, and I assume unlimited access.  I
guess you need a network card as well, since the com ports can't handle
that much info.  It's about 5X faster than an ISDN line.  When he was
messing with it at TCI, he said that it could play video with almost no
slowdown (a little bit of a pause every ten sec. or so).  The guy has
his own network (so they didn't have to charge him for a network card)
at home consisting of 4 pc's; so with the cable modem, all of them are
hooked up through the network connection.  Which I thought was pretty
neat!  That's about all the info I have on it

hey john id like to read it as i am thinking of solutions to this very big
and unfair problem thanks don
